Moulin Rouge – First Place Ribbon
Moulin Rouge, from my new series The Magic of Light, was awarded the First Place Ribbon at the Atlanta Artists Center’s Photography Salon Photographic Celebration. This juried show is part of Atlanta Celebrates Photography.
I'm very grateful and happy.
The Juror, Tony Casadonte, Gallery Director at Lumiere Gallery, commented about Moulin Rouge:
"Normally I am not drawn to heavily manipulated images, but there is a uniqueness and freshness and wholeness to this image that I truly love."
I´m back…
After an gap of several months, due to a fractured right wrist, I'm back to work. No yet at my normal rhythm but it's a start. I'm participating in a couple of Juried Art Shows and getting ready for October, when Atlanta Celebrates Photography takes place. Besides presenting some works from my new series The Magic of Light at MarketPlace 120, I'm also going to be participating in several other shows.
