One of my digital photo art prints is been displayed on the Ilford website, a manufacturer of fine art paper. It was selected as a highly commended image in their August photo contest and it will be shown there throughout the month of September.

‘Pink Gerbera Daisies’ will be also in display in their booth in PHOTOKINA 2012, the world’s largest and most prestigious photo trade show that will take place in Cologne, Germany, September 18-23.
Their announcement reads: “All selected images will be printed by our imaging experts in Switzerland onto one of our top of the range GALERIE Prestige papers. We will also be inviting visitors to the ILFORD stand to vote for their favourite image. The one that receives the most votes will receive a selection of our GALERIE Prestige media.”

Last Saturday, June 9, was the 3rd. Annual 12 Rivers Arts Festival hosted by the Sautee Nacoochee Center. This event was also part of the Northeast Georgia Arts Tour, a four county celebration of art at work. The attention to details displayed by the organizers, combined with good weather in the middle of a very rainy month, and a very heavy traffic made this one a very good venue. To complete the day, we got a Third Place Ribbon for our photo art prints.
Taking advantage of the location, we opened our booth in two directions.

The first Hoschton Heritage Arts Festival sponsored by the Hoschton Heritage Arts Council took place on Saturday, June 2 at the Opry House at Towne Center. It was an indoor-outdoor event and our booth was inside. Nice weather, nice people and a lot of traffic. A very pleasant afternoon.

The 13th Annual Celebrate Clayton Art & Music Festival which took place this last weekend was the first one of our spring season events. Arts and crafts in display; people and music; add to that good weather and you have all the ingredients for a very nice weekend.
Also worthy of mention was the kindness and solicitude of all the people involved in it, staff and volunteers, who worked hard to make sure everything run smoothly.
